Philosophy
Established as an expression of love and mission to serve God, country and children, the Filipino youth and their future, Corinthian School addresses its resources and competencies to provide an environment that is conducive to learning, balanced development and wholesome living.
This development approach anticipates the predictable ages and stages of development of the child’s physical, intellectual, social and civic as well as spiritual growth.
Balanced development and wholesome living refer to the child’s process of growth towards friendly and stable relationship with his environment and the community he lives with. It also includes his interaction with himself, which is a blending of his intellectual and emotional self.
In response to this, the school provides an adequate physical environment; classroom, playground, furniture and equipment made to fit each particular growth level. Interaction becomes a learning situation as the child himself joins his teachers and peers in varied activities, social, mental and physical. As he meets other people and views other dimensions, he acquires skills of reaching to specific situations.
In short, Corinthian School is a venue for learning and development. It recognizes that the child’s initial and enduring learning in his childhood starts at home, with parents as his teachers. As he grows and develops socially, the school assists him in exploring, discovering and understanding his world. With the ideal of Faith, Hope, and Love, Corinthian School provides a supportive framework for the child’s growth to manhood, towards independence, security and happiness, as man for others.
